Back on April 6, Mrs. Toth’s Advanced Bio class dissected a dogfish shark. The procedure of this dissection was to first find the external anatomy on the shark, and then we could cut it open. Once it was open we could then start identifying the internal organs. One of the things we had to check was whether it was a male or female, and my group's shark was a female which had three young sharks inside of her. We were able to save one for Mrs. Toth to keep and show other classes. This dissection was a neat experience to have under my belt, and I want to do a lot more dissections in her class.
