Cornell High School would cordially like to welcome Mr. William Lamb as the new band teacher. Mr. Lamb is replacing Mr. Adam Wazenegger who left for a new position at South Fayette. Mr. Lamb taught in Louisa County High School for eight years before coming to Cornell. He is determined to encourage students to strive for success in his class. He also conveyed that he wants to see students achieve their goals and take opportunities to refine their musical talent.

Mr. Lamb was inspired by his music teachers and band directors. Through high school, Lamb observed music lessons and saw how, for most, music came naturally. He stated that there is nothing more gratifying than discussing and playing music, let alone making a living out of it.

As a new band teacher at Cornell, he is going to  determine the best approach to help all of his students learn and find a way to promote and inspire students to consider being part of band.  Cornell would like to welcome Mr. Lamb and we hope that you have a great year!
