Do you have plans on Saturday, April 7th? If you do, just cancel them and come support a very busy day at East Juniata High School. Starting at 9 in the morning, the American Red Cross will begin drawing blood for our annual spring blood drive. Anyone is welcome to donate if you meet all the requirements. If you are 16 and under you must have a parent sign the permission form. Also at 9, we will begin registration for the 5k Walk/Run for Austin Parker. The race will begin at 10, and awards will be given. Austin is a senior at EJ who was hit by a car, riding his bike to school. All proceeds of the day will go to his family for his recovery. Then from 1 to 3 we will have Springfest, for kids ages 1 to 12 . You must be there for your child/children to participate. A 3 dollar donation is appreciated, all proceeds will go to Austin Parker’s Recovery. The activities will be make your own bouncy ball, a scavenger hunt, face painting, games, coloring, and spring crafts. This will be a great day filled with fun. Also at 11 behind the school East Juniata Softball will have a game against Warrior Run. Please come out to support the American Red Cross, Austin Parker, and the East Juniata softball team.
