Cornell’s girls volleyball season is now over but when talking to Coach Sacco, he has said, “they have won five matches this year and better than any other year in the past because they didn’t win any then.” Considering that there were seven people on the team, including two seniors who will be graduating this year, they were able to leave a mark on the team to hopefully keep up the success that they had this year. Coach Sacco also said that after this year he is hoping that the team will grow because with the girls winning five matches it gives others a reason to become interested in the sport and try out for it so they could play next season.

Some of the girls from the volleyball team were willing to speak about this past volleyball season. Cy’Moni said that it was rough in the beginning with getting a new coach and also with so many freshman. Myka chimed in saying that even though it was rough; they still had a lot of fun.  Myka also mentioned that they were able to learn each other's weaknesses so they were able to cover them better on the court. Both Myka and Cy’Moni stated that they would miss the seniors who were on the team.
