Photographing light trails can be a lot of trial and error so here are a few basic steps to make it easier.

How to make light trails with glow sticks:

• Sit in a dark room or outside at night

• Pictures taken best when in manual mode

• Shutter speed needs to be long so at least 5 seconds

• Aperture needs to be low, somewhere between F3-F4

• While the picture is being taken make, sure to have the light moving the whole time in the shape preferred
