On February 3rd through February 4th some of the members of the East Juniata FFA Chapter along with me attended the 2018 Agricultural Cooperation Establishes Success Convention (ACES) for the weekend. The Convention’s theme this year was ‘Creating the Vision’. So, many things we did had to do with e way that we see things. At the Convention when we got there, we attended the opening ceremonies along with six different workshops. During the workshops, we learned about agricultural literacy, respecting diversity, FFA skills and opportunities, life after FFA, and financial skills. The workshops were run by some of the current state officers, past state officers, and people from Ag Choice. Then, we had attended a social time with other FFA Chapters at a dance and then we all attended Reflections. At Reflections, we listened to four current state officers tell us about their stories. The next day we did an activity and did a community service project. The ACES Convention was a really educational trip and we all learned many new skills. I am already excited to go back next year.
