Through being a member of the East Juniata FFA Chapter, I had the privilege to attend the 102nd Pennsylvania Farm Show on January 5th through January 13th and show my livestock. Through my time at the Farm Show, I showed many of my livestock animals at the state level. I took sixteen Show rabbits and a market meat pen consisting of three rabbits. The show had went very well for me, winning everything that I could have. I ended up doing well enough to have eight of my rabbits stay at the Farm Show plus my meat pen placed in the top ten so it stayed. My meat pen placed ninth so it made it to the livestock market sale. FFA has allowed me the chance to do so much through aiding me to show my rabbits. It was truly a blessed experience as an East Juniata FFA member to make a name for myself while at the Farm Show. I even got interviewed by the Philadelphia Inquirer about one of my rabbits and the importance rabbits are to me. The 102nd Pennsylvania Farm Show was truly an educational experience full of great accomplishments for me this year, being a proud East Juniata FFA member.
