District band was held from January 11th to January 12th, and four of our students, Paige Smith, Kylie Elsasser, Sarah Irvin, and Zach Leitzel advanced to regionals. We had seven students in all go to try out, including Robert Ferry, Sam Karper, and Sierra Gearhart. Paige was on the bass clarinet, Kylie on the alto saxophone, Sarah on tenor saxophone, and Zach on the trumpet. The competition was very competitive for each of our students. Sierra, Sam, and Robert did an amazing job on making it to district band and we are very proud of all of our students. The concert for district band was supposed to be held on Saturday January 13th, but because of the weather it got pushed back to Friday January 12th. Regional band for our students will take place on February 22nd through the 24th. Good luck and good job to all of our students.
