Survival Teen Guide for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is approaching and there are teens who spend time with their family, other teens who venture off to watch the game, helping their mother and grandmothers cook and just stay in there room.
If you’re that teen that watches football with the cousins, munch on chips while the food is being cooked. This is how you can make it through Thanksgiving. Sit with your cousins and bond over the touchdowns and all the hooras.
“I’m going to be watching the Cowboys because, they are in our division this year,” said Ryu Diaz-Wong, junior. “While I’m watching the game I eat thanksgiving dinner with the family and bond.”
Additionally there are some teens that help their mother, grandmother and aunts cook in the kitchen while the others are screaming over watching football game, this is how to stay patient while you’re cooking.
While cooking to make the time past and get the food ready. Being able to joke, talk about life, and tell stories.
“I go to my cousin’s house for Thanksgiving in Allentown and I usually help cook the green beans, casserole, turkey, salads, and our special dish I cook is the pineapple casserole,” said Katie Frankunas, junior.
Finally there’s some teens who stays up in there room either watching television or spending time with a family member. This is how you can make it through while the food is being cooked and all the screaming and hooras.
Staying up with your family member or bonding over a television show can help.
“My mom says and thinks my cooking is horrible so I tend to stay in my room and watch television with my little sister or play games with my cousin until the food is done”, said Kyia Inniss, junior. `
