On Monday, January 8th, the East Juniata FFA attended the Pennsylvania Farm Show and the Pennsylvania FFA Midwinter Convention. We got to see all the different animals, as well as, watch some competitions. We got to enjoy some good food from the food court and walk around to the different vendors and exhibits. During Midwinter Convention, seven of our seniors accepted their Keystone degree. This degree is the highest degree in the state of Pennsylvania for the FFA. These seniors included, Allyson Buckley, Adam Finkbiner, Jacob Kinzer, Jon Nace, Kent Rickenbaugh, Brandon Sheaffer and Blake Sheaffer. There were also five freshman who won their official FFA jackets through the FFA jacket drive. The FFA jacket drive is a drive where the students write an essay on what FFA means to them, what the jacket means to them, and what the FFA jacket will do for them in their career during FFA. The freshmen who won their jackets were Morgan Delancey, Brooke Delancey, Shelby Diven, Hope Lightner and Jason Roush. Congratulations to all of these people for their accomplishments.
