Job Interviews
Not only did we learn about the importance of the paperwork, but we also learned how important your attire and handshake are. Your first impression is very important. Think about what you wear to school or work everyday. You probably wouldn’t be dressed appropriately for a job interview. When dressing for a job interview you need to wear professional attire. This includes dress slacks, dress, skirt, tights, suit and tie, and you have to make sure the colors you wear are not to bright. Your jewelry and tie needs to be subtle and appropriate. Now your handshake is also very important. A handshake can say a lot about a person. Your handshake needs to have your hand stretched out, a tight grip, but not too tight, and two to three shakes. If it's to hard, it can show that you are not friendly and aggressive and if to soft it can show that you are insecure and shy.
When going to a job interview, remember these important things and your job interview will go very well. Thank you Mrs. Graybill!
