After seven years in the district, David Pacchioni, assistant principal says goodbye.
Pacchioni started out in the district as a football coach, on staff with Matt Triolo, former dean of students at the high school and now an assistant principal at Stroudsburg High School, and James Ward social studies.
“ Pacchioni was a great educator, coach, and early morning workout partner. He will be missed by the entire staff,” said Ward, social studies. “
While coaching, Pacchini was eventually hired as a math teacher at the highschool. He taught for ninth graders teaching Algebra I.
“When I became a teacher I wanted to make an impact to other lives like how mine was impacted when I was a student,” said Pacchioni
Pacchioni described the feeling as being very excited and bless to be put onto the staff as a teacher. He loved interacting with the students and helping them out, he knew he made an impact in their lives.
Shortly after being an Algebra I teacher for quite a while, Pacchioni was moved up to be the Dean of Students for Pleasant Valley. He claims this was an advantage because because he loved being social with students and colleagues on a daily basis.
Out of all three positions Pac describes the district as a family orientated atmosphere. He learned that school is about having pride, being positive and assisting people on a daily basis. As an administrator, Pac had a consistent for his staff and that was to make the day positive and successful.
“ I know a friend and a professional moving onto the next phase in his life, we’ve learned a lot about eachother, “ said Gress.
Pac doesn’t leave empty handed because he knows he made impact on the schooland on the students.
