On Novermeber 14, 2017, the East Juniata Girls Soccer team went to the States semi-final game against Camp Hill. The game started off pretty good until the opposing team got the lead of the game. Even after Camp Hill got ahead, the Lady Tigers did not give up. The first half came to an end and the Tigers were down by two goals. During the second half, the girls gave it all they had. They did not give up; they wanted to be at the State Championship game. Unfortunately, the Lady Tigers fell short by one goal. The girls soccer team had worked hard since August, so the loss was a devastation to them. Even though they lost, they know they left all they had on the field. For most of the girls, they still have next year to try for the State Champions. The girls learned to proud of how far they came, and what the future has to hold for the girls soccer team in the upcoming years.
