East Juniata AP English students traveled to see a performance of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol on December fifteenth. The performance was held at Mount Hope Estate in Manheim, PA, the same property where the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is held annually. A second trip to this location for several students this year, the day was very entertaining and educational.
The performance was a great one as it resulted in many laughs and a thrilled applause. The actors and actresses not only provided a great show, but they also interacted with the audience in ways that made the experience fun and memorable. Allowing the audience to ask questions, the cast members explained why they became interested in acting and what their job entails. The show, including the question and answer session was, all in all, roughly an hour and a half. The performance was a must see, as it worked to put the audience in the Christmas spirit.
