On, December 16, 2017 the East Juniata National Honor Society held its annual event Winterfest. Winterfest is a Christmas themed day in which children from the local community can come together to participate in fun, festive games. These games include cookie decorating, snowball toss, coloring, and so much more. Santa was even there to ask the children what they wanted for Christmas! My group's activity was a target shooting game. Throughout the entire day, children came in a had a fun time partaking in all of the activities. It was enjoyable to see the Christmas cheer throughout the course of the event. At the end of the day, all donations went to the Salvation Army. I hope that this fun, festive experience will continue in the upcoming years!
