At the end of October, the students of AMSU attended the annual Halloween Dance. They were joined by students from various all-boys Catholic schools such as All Hallows, Mt. St. Michael, Fordham Prep, and Cardinal Hayes. It was a relaxing end to the hectic week that began with the Ring Day celebrations. This year, the dance was held on a Saturday instead of the usual Friday. Many of us were worried that attendance would be low. What high school student would want to return to school on a Saturday? However, there was a good turnout and we all enjoyed the music, sweets, and time spent with our friends.
In addition to dancing and great music, some of our very dedicated students set up an erie haunted house inspired by popular horror movies. It featured characters from the remake of IT, Chucky and many more. The haunted house was open for the first two hours of the party. After, all of the actors came outside to enjoy the rest of the dance. The haunted house was the highlight of this year's dance.
