NYC is making strides in providing access to college for all. A new program that was created by Bard College and the Brooklyn Public Library aims to help nontraditional students earn college degrees for no cost at all. 

The initiative is a “microcollege” where students can participate in a fully-accredited Associate in Arts program right at their local library. The program aims to bring the dream of a college degree to those students who might not have thought it possible.
