On October 19th, 2017 the East Juniata Girls Soccer defeated Juniata 6-2. The Lady Tigers set the tone in the first ten minutes of the game when Sophomore, Thea Neimond, scored the first goal of the night. That goal set the mood for the rest of the game. About ten minutes later, Junior, Hailey Swartz, scored the second goal by receiving a pass from Kierstyn Fogle, a Freshman. By the end of the first half, the Lady Tigers were winning 3-0. At the beginning of the second half, the Juniata Indians scored a goal in the first five minutes. The Tigers did not give up though. Throughout the second half, East Juniata scored three more goals and Juniata only scored one more. The buzzer went off and the Lady Tigers were TVL Champions. This was the first time the East Juniata Girl's Soccer Team won the TVL since 2011. Congrats Ladies!
