AP Renaissance Faire Trip By: Gracie Brubaker and Megan Elsasser

On Wednesday, October 4, Mrs. Hund and Mrs. Croissette took their AP classes to the Renaissance Faire for School Days. There were several small events that students could watch throughout the day. Some of the events included a joust, singing groups, live chess match, and a hypnotist. The faire was set up as a little village that reminded you of the Renaissance time period. Good food was offered, but at high prices. There were also little shops for people to buy souvenirs. We interviewed a senior who went for the first time and asked her what her favorite part of the Renaissance Faire was, "I liked the hypnotist, because he blew my mind. The food was good too." We also asked a senior who went last year what her favorite part of the Renaissance Faire was, "My favorite part was watching Circus Stella because I love dogs and they were welcoming and entertaining." Circus Stella was an act that involved a family and a dog who performed tricks and acrobatics. We highly recommend going to the Renaissance Faire if you are an AP student because there was a variety of entertainment and it was a great way to hang out with teachers and classmates.
