Is Tax Reform Coming? 

Hoping for a legislative win, the President has doubled down on efforts to get Republicans in the House and Senate to focus on his tax reform policy. In his speech to The Heritage Foundation, the President used the anniversary of Ronald Reagan's Tax Reform Act of 1986 as an example of how his current tax policy could bring on "Morning in America" for this generation of Americans.

W Goes After Trump

Ex-presidents usually avoid criticizing the current occupant of the White House, but former President George W. Bush didn't hold back when commenting on the current political landscape in Washington. He didn't name names, but had a strongly worded speech which zeroed in on many challenges and divisions coming from the Trump administration.

Not This Year, Yankees

There was probably cheering in Boston when the Yankees were finally beat in what was an unlikely run through the post season. The Yankees, whose hungry, young players such as Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge and Greg Bird, seemed to have their eyes set on being long-term playoff contenders. By winning the last two games of this seven-game American League Championship series, the Astros move to the World Series where they will face the Dodgers in L.A. in Tuesday night’s opener.
