"Their hormones are raging. Their bodies are in full revolt. And life's never been so confusing. Welcome to puberty."
If you at least giggled at that sentence, you have not seen the best of it. The new Netflix comedy, Big Mouth, released in September 2017, has been raving. A juvenile comedy, based around the subject of puberty in middle school, has more than just your average cartoon. Similar (if not more vulgar than ) to Family Guy, the animated cast of characters is charming and hysterical. The show follows two 12 year old boys, Nick and Andrew, and their friends as they ride on the roller coaster of puberty. The show covers subjects including periods, mood swings, self-esteem, body confidence, but in a way that is not your normal approach. They cover the subjects through quite vulgar humor, so please get your parents permission before watching the show. All in all, the new comedy (written by Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Andrew Goldberg, Jessi Klein, and Jenifer Flackett) is a heartwarming, show and one heck of a time. Happy binge watching!!!!
