Newfield’s Varsity Kickline has been renown as a fan-favorite halftime performance during football and basketball seasons. This year’s team features 29 girls, coached by Marissa Sciacca. They can be seen at their upcoming performances at Newfield’s Pep Rally and Homecoming.

But that’s not the only exciting news surrounding Newfield’s Kickline team.  NHSVK’s competition team will be participating in multiple scholastic competitions this winter, as well as attending NDA Nationals in Orlando at Disney in early March. The girls spent three days this past summer at a rigorous camp hosted by the National Dance Association at Walt Whitman High School. Excitingly, the team went home with a bid to Nationals, a Superior Rating in their Team Performance, a Technical Excellence award, and won Gold in their Team Performance Circle of Winners, in addition to gaining their very own spirit stick.
