The Health and Wellness Club is something new for East Juniata this year. This club is for anyone grades 7th-12th. Our goal is to promote heart health and support the American Heart Association. Did you know that an estimated number of around 610,000 people die in our country every year? The American Heart Association is a non profit organization that works to reduce the number of sufferers of heart, or cardiovascular disease and strokes. The first event that the Health and Wellness Club will be at is the boys’ home soccer against Greenwood this Thursday, September 28th. We will be taking donations at the game for the American Heart Association and selling t-shirts for $10. You can support the boys and help lower the risk of heart disease all in one night. Please wear red and we hope to see you there!
