This year's VMAs were definitely a hot mess. There was publicity seeking drama (Katy, Taylor, Remy, Nikki, Jay, etc.). There were production gaffes (Julia Michaels cut cut off halfway through her song) and performances that lacked the excitement of years past. Fifth Harmony tossed a "Camila" stand-in off the stage (RUDE) and twitter went crazy, but even that invoked a bit of a yawn. There were some politically charged moments that were worth a re-watch online and we did like Pink's inspiring message to her daughter. We couldn't even live through the fashion, but check out our picks for give outfits you shouldn't miss for various reasons.
