Delaware Valley High School art students had the opportunity to move their best works from the halls of the high school to the walls of the ARTery Gallery on Broad Street in Milford for the sixth annual student show and sale “Voices of Our Youth” .

Family, friends and community members attended the opening reception on Saturday, March 11, 2017, to celebrate the accomplishments of the young artists and to enjoy an evening of celebration, refreshments and conversation with our students, who enthusiastically discussed their works.

The event provides the unusual and enviable opportunity for amateur artists to have their work displayed in a professional gallery setting. Seeing their work framed and displayed in a well-lit space surrounded by other great work, feeling the energy of the crowd and sharing the moment with their friends and family was a memorable moment for everyone involved. Works are priced for sale. The student receives the proceeds; often the first time someone has paid them for their work, a very exciting and rewarding experience for any artist!
