Winter Weather Report

The Farmer's Almanac this year says that the winters will be colder than normal, on average, with slightly above-normal precipitation and near-normal snowfall. The Farmer’s Almanac was founded in 1792 by Robert B. Thomas by method of magnetic storms on the sun's surface. The Student’s Almanac is asking students what they predict on this year winter with no prior knowledge.

Winter prediction for this winter from Desiree Moore a freshman said, “Not so cold of a winter.”

Junior Kelly Pierce contradicted  the claim for this winter and said, “ Lots of snow.”

The Student’s Almanac also has a variety of coldest temperatures and also the highest snowfall. The snowfall calculation from Bridget Kennedy a senior said, “ 7 feet and a blizzard is gonna hit.”

On the low scale Desiree said, “ 3 inches of snow.”

Temperatures from correspondent Lydia Mattison in 11 grade said, “ -15 degrees fahrenheit.”

While prediction for how many snow days this year will bring Bridget said, “ 72 days.”

Lydia and Desiree both agreed with 4 snow days.
