As part of their Pre-Employment Transition Services (PETS), the Life Skills students visited the Health Professions class to learn about basic first aid and health needs. The Health Professions students set up stations where the visitors could either actively participate or be the patients themselves. The stations included blood pressure, heart rate, height and weight, basic bandaging, hand washing, and splinting. Part of the experience included meeting Veronica, the mannequin, who can talk, groan, yell, cough, and even vomit (though just the sound!). As you'll see in the video, all of the students had a great time working with each other.
