On Sept. 24, the Grey Towers National Historic Site celebrated National Public Lands Day and Community Appreciation Day. To give back to the community, Grey Towers hosted an ice cream social sponsored by the Milford Dairy Bar. Employees came to serve free ice cream to all the visitors from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event brought in approximately 700 visitors who came to enjoy the historic site.
