In CP class we read the book Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.  As we read this book we learned about the characteristics Shakespeare gave to his characters. We also looked at the Metaphors and Similes the characters said. 

     After we finished the book we explained some famous quotes and explained why the character said them. During the book, we had study guides and literary elements to help us understand what the characters said. We also wrote an essay on how the literary elements helped the reader increase comprehension of the main characters. In my opinion, the literary elements were a great reference to the play, and increased my comprehension as a reader, of the characters Romeo and Juliet.
