A few weeks ago, I went to Florida. I flew down alone on Friday from the airport in Elmira and I flew into the Orlando/Sanford airport at around 2 in the afternoon. My grandmother and cousins were there to pick me up and we made our way back to the hotel. The hotel we stayed at was called the Coco Key hotel, and it was awesome. There was so much stuff to do. They had a huge pool, a convenient store with tons of Dippin Dots, a water park, an arcade, and tons of restaurants. Also, they had a fitness center. First, I went to the pool with my cousin, Casey. Him and I then headed over to the water park after a bit and we went down all of the slide. Oh. The best part about the pools and the water park. The water was really warm, so it wasn't an absolute nightmare when waiting in lines. After we were done at the water park, we went to the arcade. Casey and I played the most expensive games and got no tickets from them. However, we played all of the major-ticket games near the end and we combined them to buy a foam football. After we were done at the arcade, we went to get some Dippin Dots. We walked out to the hotel parking lot and started throwing the football back and forth to each other. Eventually, some random guy joined us and we played for hours. However, 10 PM came fast, and we had to go back inside. The next day, we ate breakfast at Denny's and checked out of the room, however, Casey and I were still allowed to use the hotel services. We went to the arcade, and added up our point so we could get a volleyball, which was one of the most expensive items. After that, we got our bathing suits on and went to the pool. We relaxed in the hot tub until we got bored, and headed over to the water park. It was even less windy than the other day, so waiting in lines wasn't bad at all. We went down every single slide, and when we were done, we hit the road to go to my grandparent's camper in Frostproof. When we got there, Casey and I went straight to the pool. We couldn't stay in the pool for long because Casey had to put his insulin pump back in. Oh yeah, he had diabetes type 1. We hung out there for a while and when we got back to the camper we played video games for the rest of the night. The next day, we got up packed some of our stuff up, and went to the beach. Luckily, we didn't have to pay for a hotel. My great aunt has a condo at Vero Beach. The place with the condominiums was called Vera Cruz. There was tons of stuff to do. They had a pool, and a short walk to the beach. On Sunday afternoon, we headed for the beach. I brought my frisbee with me and Casey and I threw a frisbee back and forth on the beach. However, the wind caught the frisbee after Casey threw it and it went into the bushes. The bushes were incredibly tall, so there was no way that I would be able to climb into them and get the frisbee out. We wanted to go into the water but it was freezing cold. Instead, we made a useless wall for no reason. Making connections? After that, we went back to the condo and relaxed. Just like the camper, there was no wifi so we were limited inside. We watched TV for a few hours until we went to bed. The next morning, we watched some TV and went to pool once it warmed up a bit. We swam for hours while playing catch with a ball that we won back at the arcade. Eventually, we got out and dried up, and we headed back inside. For lunch, we all went to a Chinese restaurant. It was a lot nicer than most Chinese restaurants in the United States, and the food was really good. A soon as Casey and I got back, we headed straight for the pool. We stayed there for hours. For dinner, my grandmother made Mac and Cheese. When everyone finished eating, we headed for the movie theater. I saw The Great Wall. It was okay, but Matt Damon was the only reason it was good. When the movie was over, I was hungry again, so we stopped at Wendy's. I love Wendy's. It's my favorite fast-food restaurant. We finished up our food, and my grandmother made us all do homework. I didn't have internet, so I could only do worksheets. After I finished up the worksheets that I could, I went to bed. The very next day, everyone got their stuff together and we went back to Frostproof. As soon as we got back, my grandmother drove me to the airport. The trip was over, and I flew back to Orlando.
