Kay Jewelers Scandal?! 

In June 2016, CBS news reported that Kay Jewelers was offering a 20% discount on bridal jewelry in order to get its costumers back. Why was that necessary? Well, during this past summer Signet Jewelers, Kay Jewelers and Zale’s parent company, was suspected of switching out diamonds and replacing them with fake ones. Many customers were complaining about faulty repairs, and said that they would not be purchasing from Kay anymore. Some of the negative comments have still not been validated, and the negative has tarnished the company’s reputation.  

On February 27, 2017, The Washington Post had publish an article titled "Hundreds allege sex harassment, discrimination at Kay and Jared jewelry company." Apparently some female workers have made accusations of being groped and sexually harassed in the 1990s and 2000s. Sterling Jewelers has recently been getting a lot of negative attention. It looks like they are going to start loosing plenty of customers if all of these allegations aren't cleared up. What a shame!
