MATT NAKOA began composing music as a teenager. While attending Berklee College of Music he worked alongside a who’s who of soon-to-be industry darlings, including St. Vincent, Esperanza Spaulding, and members of the bands Karmin and Lucius. 

Schreiber High school students had the opportunity to attend a singers/songwriting workshop at the Landmark Theater in Port Washington, NY to make music and learn from the musician.
