Mrs. Sutton's art class recently used some leftover mixed paints from a previous project to paint over 100 swatches of color. They then discussed artist Keith Haring and designed their own Haring-inspired figures. Haring became famous for his chalk drawings of stylized people in the subways of New York City. His countless figures would show up everywhere, gaining recognition and becoming an installation piece throughout New York. The class decided to do the same--make so many figures that students would recognize them and help them travel throughout the school. Now they are showing up everywhere!
