Did you know that there are more than 50 types of deer species. Deer are located in every part of world except for Australia and Antarctica. Deer are named by their height or sex. Male deer are called bucks, females, are does, and the young ones are identified as fawns. Since their eyes are on the side of their head, they have a 310 degree view. A deer's speed is 35 miles per hour. Deer weigh 40 to 680 kilograms. All deer are herbivores and only eat plant life. In the wild a deer can live 15- 20 years depending on the species and where the deer live. These are some of the facts of deer, but there are many more facts yet to be discovered.
