Students volunteer for United Way's Day of Caring

On Sept. 10, nearly 200 students from Delaware Valley High School ventured out into the sweltering heat to take part in the 16th annual United Way Day of Caring. Volunteers 14 years of age and older were divided into groups to give back to different nonprofit locations within Pike County and do work ranging from clearing rocks from a pasture at Camp Spears to sorting and clearing out years’ worth of paperwork at the Chamber of Commerce....
