For centuries , the nation of America has been governed by the fundamental system of federalism and democracy by which the people or the governed possess sovereignty. By this system, the people of the nation of America have the power to elect a presidential candidate by their vote, and therefore have a say in the government. The preferred candidate that is mostly favored by the people is usually elected by the popular vote. However, it is believed that on November 9, 2016, the candidate that obtained the popular vote was not necessarily the "preferred" candidate of the people of America. This candidate is Donald Trump.
As a business man, politician and entrepreneur, Donald Trump is widely known for his riches and wealth, family background, properties and estates but explicit speech as well. In the hopes for a drastic historic change, most of the people of America were in expectancy of their first female president. Hillary, the obvious favored candidate of the American people was expected to win the election due to her victory in both of the presidential debates. However, the tables turned quickly on the night of election day. Trump exceeded Clinton's accumulated popular vote of 232 with a popular vote of 290!
