Mrs. Getty's chemistry students have been learning about the Lab Safety Rules. Mrs. Getty decided to twist it around and had all of the CP Chemistry students act out the lab safety rules out and then take a photo of themselves. The Lab Safety Rules are very important, especially when you are working with materials that could be potentially harmful.
The Lab Safety Rules are
· Authorized work
· Be prepared
· Know how to use the safety equipment
· Report a incident
· Never eat, taste, or smell
· Proper Attire
· Safety goggles on at all times
· No horse playing
· Open work area
· Clean up
Here's what some of the students had to say about this activity:
Gavin Probst: “This lab was really fun! The best part was dressing up and putting on the wig.”
Bergen Weiner: “Getting to the rabbit was the best part! This lab was extremely fun and interesting.”
Lizzy Poirier: "The best part about this lab was when the rabbit attacked me! 'Scratch my Jugular!' This lab was very fun!”
Chase Moser: "The best part was being able to be as grabby as I wanted to be!”
