Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, (Born: January 27, 1832 Died: January 14, 1898) aka Louis Carroll, was a highly-respected 19th century British writer and Anglican deacon, best known for his timeless fantasy works “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland”, and “Through the Looking-Glass”. He was also an acclaimed mathematician, photographer and inventor of word games, including an early version of the classic board game Scrabble.
