Guaranteeing the community with the newest style haircuts, Buzz Cutz Salon and Spa starts their week off at 9 a.m. on Monday morning.
Owner Tracey D’Ambola received her nail license in 1995 and owned her business four years prior to attending Stroudsburg school of Cosmetology in 2001. Fifteen years later, Buzz Cutz continues to be operated as a simple barber shop, that offers tanning. Previously working with her best friend and her late aunt, they successfully fulfilled people's wishes with different hairstyles and haircuts at the original location behind Dingmans Medical off of 739.
Just a short seven months ago, D’Ambola moved her location. Buzz Cutz’s new location is 1831 Route 739, Dingmans Ferry, which is down the road from Arnold's Country Mini Mart for people who are not familiar with the area. The salon is open to the community seven days a week, including weekends.
As of result of moving locations, D’Ambola expanded her business to a full service salon that offers facials and tanning, renaming the business Buzz Cutz Salon and Spa. This transition allowed her to expand her services to different groups of customers, bringing in more smiling faces awaiting a new look by the time they leave her shop.
“I love the new shop. I have the opportunity to offer services to all the beautiful women in town and also make their husbands handsome like we always have,” said D’Ambola.
Tracey goes throughout her week with help from her talented staff. Jackie Lynch is known to be phenomenal with highlights and color, alongside Michelle Brinker who is also the shops esthetician and MAC make-up artist. Tracey’s mother Clorinda Alfano has over 20 years of experience in perms, coloring and cuts. Clorinda also has experience with wedding and prom hairstyles.
Buzz Cutz Salon and Spa offers nail services, such as acrylic nails and pedicures. Continuing with their various options, Buzz Cutz offers spray tanning and waxing. All of these offers can take place with an appointment, and the salon does accept walk-ins.
Along with the extension, the business has also created specials and deals for their customers. Starting Oct 19, the salon is offering new client specials. They Include $10 off any color service, and $3 off any haircut. The special lasts until Nov 19, everyone is welcome.
“The thought of meeting the wives of all my original customers make me so happy. It feels like an honor to be apart of the whole family.” D’Ambola stated smiling.
