Grand Lake Colorado is a small and lively village high in the Rocky Mountains. Almost two and a half hours away from the capitol city of Boulder, the rural town has a lot to offer. From swimming in the lake to lounging in the sun, there's a lot of things to do during the summer. Visiting the seasonal gift shops and candy stores brings most of the towns annual revenue. The so called "Mom & Pop Shops" have the appeal of a family owned business and all the hospitality of a small town. During the winter the snowmobiles are rumbling and hardly anyone drives a vehicle around the town. The large and colorful Christmas tree in the middle of the snowy streets is a picture perfect scene. The town offers many trails that go in and out of the large woods, offering scenery and adventure for anyone of any age.
