Joy, Peace, and Art!

A yearly tradition for the oil painting class at Wellsboro High School is to take a trip down the local Goodwill store.  Why did they go to Goodwill? For the seasonal winter time they paint the front door windows! Usually they also get to decorate fake trees to help sell them for the seasonal time of year, but sadly this year they ran out of time. The students who attended were Seniors Emma Kotz, Jenna Haynes, Audrey Zuchowski,  and juniors Taylor Cavanaugh, and Katelyn Kramer.

Taylor Cavanaugh was a special addition because she’s in the drawing and painting class but got to attend! “It was fun, but upsetting that we didn’t decorate the trees,” said Senior Emma Kotz. “It was cool. A bit complicated though,” Jenna Haynes said. Katelyn Kramer said, “The experience was interesting and definitely a great way to learn more about art itself.”
