Spring is just around the corner, and everyone is excited. The trees are blooming and the flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping and the weather is getting warmer as we are getting closer to summer. But it is important to know these vital life hacks which can make your springtime even more enjoyable. 

1. During spring, people often go for sunglasses. They are a staple of spring attire. While they get used, they tend to get dirty. Fingerprints can make it almost impossible to see out of sunglasses. But do not worry- there is a cheap and easy solution which will save you from buying expensive sunglasses cleaner. Simply pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol into a 1 oz. bottle, fill the rest of the bottle up with water and add four drops of liquid detergent. That’s it! Just shake it and you are good to go, it will keep your glasses clean 24/7.

2. Springtime is home to the season of spring cleaning. If you are cleaning glass doors in your house and there are smudges that simply won’t come off, spring for a dryer sheet. Just wipe the dryer sheet over the smudges and it will rub them off quite easily. 

3. Do you notice your towels giving off a peculiar odor? There is a simple solution to that. If you want to freshen your towels all you need is 2 ingredients- vinegar and baking soda. All you have to do is add 1 cup of vinegar and a 1/2 cup of baking soda to a hot washing cycle and the towels will smell brand new. 

4. Does your garbage can release a foul odor when you open it? Do not worry if it does, there is a simple fix. You have to get an empty spray bottle, some liquid dish soap, and some water. Just mix three parts water and one part dish soap in the bottle. All that’s left to do is spray the inside of the garbage can and then hose it out. 

5. Ovens are often hard to clean, but there is a simple solution. Coffee filters leave no residue and soak up grease with ease. Next time you need to clean the oven, try using a coffee filter, you won’t be disappointed.

6. Are your bulky winter clothes taking up too much space? This hack will solve your problem quickly. Just vacuum-seal your winter clothes until the winter. Not only will this free up a multitude of space but it will make sure that your clothes are properly stored. 

7. It is always a challenge to remove pet hair from carpets. The vacuums usually do not pick it up, and when they do pick it up it usually just winds up getting displaced in the air finding a new home in another area of your house. There is a simple way to combat this. Just use a squeegee! Squeegees will get rid of pet hair from carpets with ease. 

8. Toilets usually wind up being a real bear to clean. But this struggle will exist no more! Just use Coca-Cola! That’s right, Coca-Cola will make the toilet spotless. Just pour a two-liter bottle of Coca- Cola into your toilet and let it sit a few hours. Then just flush the toilet and it will be spotless.
