Michael Jackson was born Michael Joseph Jackson. Michael was born August 29, 1958, in Gary Indiana. His parents were Joe and Katherine Jackson. He had many siblings, eight, to be in fact! Their names were Maureen, Sigmund, Toriano, Jermaine, LaToya, Marlin, Brandon, Steven, and Janet. Michael and some of his siblings started a band, called the Jackson Five. This was only the beginning of Michael Jackson's HUGE career. Not only was he a fantastic singer, but he could dance too. He was known for his awesome moonwalk. Michael Jackson was also world-famous for more than four decades! Michael seemed unstoppable. Unfortunately, his behavior changed drastically. In 1993, he was accused of sexually assaulting a child of a family friend. However, he was not indicted. Four years after this horrible issue, he passed away. He died of a drug overdose, on June 25, 2009. he left behind his children, Paris, Prince, and Michael.
