I have seen things that should not be.
Many times I'd hide behind a tree.
It would be us three,
Jem, Dill, and me.
My father, Atticus, showed them the key,
showed them that Tom Robinson should be free.
This is how life will be for me,
standing behind a tree,
waiting for answers for little old me.
